In this Article Hanna Rosin point out “A 16-year old stabbed her mother to death after complaining that her Chinese immigrant parents with to high standards.” Now do you think Amy Chua is a good parent Amy Chua says she the weak-willed, Pathetic, Western parent. Hanna parses her children. She shows that she loves them, she shows that she cares, by not calling them “trash.” A kid should have freedom and Imagination. “An Asians Fathers Gift,” is an article written by Llyon Woo is about a woman who couldn’t get a good grade in math no matter how hard she tired, it was her weakness. She was getting so stressed that she couldn’t get a good grade in math. One day unlike Amy Chua, her father told her to stop trying, she was set free to fail. Amy Chua showed parents the way she tought her kids. As for me, I think every child and parent are different and they have their different ways to be a raised. If you where taking a test and you didn’t know the answer but the answer was on the wall, that wouldn’t be really cheating if it was on the wall. If athletes used steroids during sports why can’t we cheat on test? I look up to many athletes and who would ever know that there cheating. I know about 95% of people who has cheated at least once, and most of the teacher doesn’t even care. There are different was of cheating, and different methods. Yes cheating is bad, but sadly many people cheat. High school teacher Christine Pelton, and discovered that her students were cheating and quiet her job. I believe she did the right thing to quit, it was her way to do her job and it wasn’t enough for the board.
